Programme for CNAP Round Table Discussion, 21 April 2021

Dear CNAP member,

We are delighted to present to you the programme for the next round table discussion, which will take place on 21 April 2021 from 12:30 – 15:30 (online).

Programme

12.30  Welcome and short introduction to the topic “assessing big data sets in pain research”

12.35  Group work – preparation of presentations plus discussion

A presentation of the chosen paper. Thus, you are not expected to prepare the presentation beforehand. Please prepare a presentation on the general content of the paper (structure, methods, why is this paper good/bad etc.), as well as a reflection of the general topic of big data in pain research: how can we use big data in pain research? How applicable are the lessons learned from big data studies in other fields to pain research? How can we become more critical of the results of such studies?
A discussion of the paper selected by one of the other groups (according to the group scheme below)
